Writing Baybayin KAGANDAHAN during the Ms. Universe Pageant...
Since I was a demoer of Baybayin in Calligraphies in Conversations 2015 , I was testing if writing Baybayin KAGANDAHAN (Beauty) and KAPALARAN(FATE,DESTINY). over and over again will help Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach win the crown. However,what a disappointment when Steve Harvey , the host it was Ms. Colombia who won Ms Universe.
Then a minute later, the host Harvey apologized for announcing the wrong winner. Ms. Philippines won. My Baybayin wish came true.
CONGRATULATIONS Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Last Kalligraphia 13, I was able to write on some pieces that made me write. This year I hardly had one post for Kalligraphia 14 due to fact my house got flooded on the last December 11, 2014 (Storm of the Decade, the Pineapple Express). Thank God, I've flood insurance. I'm still rebuilding and cleaning up with the help of relatives/family.
Great I'm a reverse paranoid, "The Universe through this flood is out to bless me."
It sucked a lot of energy out of me . The rebuilding cost a lot of money, time, effort,energy. It was overwhelming, stressful, exhausting experience but the LEARNING EXPERIENCE is exponential.
I got lots of poems on in like "The Flood Has An Appointment at my House", "Just Enough Pink:.
I've met about 200 new people that I would not have otherwise met and know what to do in case EL
NINO drops in as uninvited guest.
I missed a lot of demo and attended only one demo at the SF Public Library.
One blessing of Kalligraphia 14 was my piece titled "40" honoring the Friends of Calligraphy 40th anniversary and celebrating #40 MADBUM as the Bestest Pitcher the World Series has ever Known, won a Golden Ribbon Award in a Fine Arts Juried Show. I'll post my 40 poem later.

No Poetry in Money Per Poet Robert Graves

Last month April was National Poetry Month. I was reminded of the lines of
"There's no money in poetry. There's no poetry in Money" - Robert Graves
Why is there no poetry in MONEY?
He counts,
he flaunts;
he pounds the XX, kicks and punches XX,
XY violates XX,
No poetry in Money when he boxes XX,
Why,
No poetry in Money , INDEED!
He believes in matter, the MONEY sign.
depending purely on matter
His opponent believes in
anti-matter, the spirit of the invisible, and heart.
Which one will prevail?
The heart has energy , tons of forces , atomic , nuclear though small.
May light prevails over MONEY.

Emmanuel. Red symbolizes the Holy Spirit.

The meaning of Floyd is:
In Welsh the meaning Floyd is: Grey.
One with grey hair.
May grey hair be with Floyd once he weathers down.

San Mateo County Congratulates Local Boy Tom Brady -SUPERBOWL MVP
TOM BRADY, Junipero Serra High Alum Wins Again.
Who are you rooting for? People asked. Well, if the 49'ers are not in the Superbowl and the New England Patriots are playing, I'm rooting for our San Mateo star, Tom Brady, who is now at the level of Joe Montana.
I've been rooting for Tom Brady since his first Superbowl because I admired how he was rejected during the draft, and was picked only from the leftovers.
I prayed that Junipero Serra send out his blessing to Tom to win the Superbowl. Yay!
