SAN FRANCESCO DE ASSISI -PATRON SAINT FOR OCTOBER -SF Giants has a Patron Saint

San Francisco Named for San Francesco de Assisi Feast is October 4. OCTOBER IS THE MONTH OF SAN FRANCISCO.




San Francesco de Assisi Feast Day is on October. The International Feast of Animals is also held in October in his honor
San Francisco, CA is named after San Francisco of Assisi.



 
 
October 4 was the Feast of St . Francisco De Assisi. No way was the San Francisco Giants going to lose . The churches celebrate his feast by telling the parishioners to bring their pets and animals so the priest can bless them.
 
 
St. Louis of the Cardinals is also a Saint but his feast is on August 26th. If the
San Francisco Giants  go post-season . Watch out. OCTOBER IS MONTH OF SAN FRANCISCO.
 
 
His friends are animals and he can talk to animals according to legend. He tamed the ferocious wolf of Gubbio. in 2012, the SF Giants swept the Detroit Tiger/ Tigers are ferocious animals.
 
 
SF Giants have players  nicknamed as the Panda, the Giraffe, and the Moose.
 
 
Kansas City Royals are not not named after Kings or Queens or royalty but after cows. Kansas has a billion dollar industry in livestock  as in cows. They hold barbecue contests.
 
 
Cows are animals and San Francisco can talk to animals because they are his friends.
